Systech International appoints new Regional Director for South East Asia

Luke Walker will take up residency in our Singapore office as the new Regional Director
for South East Asia on 1 January 2016, replacing Kevin Timmons, who will be relocating to
Systech’s London office.

Luke has been based in Doha over the last 6 months, where he has helped Simon
Berry look after our existing clients and develop new business. Luke has over 25 years
experience in the construction industry during which time he has been involved in a
range of major international infrastructure projects in the UK, Middle East, China and
South East Asia. He is an expert in claims production, dispute resolution, commercial/
contract administration and cost management of MEP, special systems and civil
construction works.

Kevin opened the Singapore office for Systech in 1997. Then, after a period running
his own successful consultancy, he re-joined us in Singapore in 2013. After 18 years
in Singapore, Kevin is looking forward to returning to UK with his young family and
re-joining the London team with whom he worked from 1992 to 1997. After helping Luke
settle into his new role, Kevin will be supporting the Doha office before taking up his new
role at Chapter House in early summer 2016.

Stephen Rayment, Group Managing Director for APAC, MEA and the Americas says:

“Kevin has done an excellent job for Systech over the last 2½ years building the Singapore
office, re-establishing our presence in Malaysia and opening new opportunities for Systech in
Vietnam and India. Finding the right person to take us forward was critical and I am delighted
that we were able to achieve this from within our business. With his all-round capability, Luke
is the ideal person build on Kevin’s good work.”
